Sysadmin is significantly easier to get (depending on what type of sysadmin and where you work), but generally doesn’t pay quite as well and has lower job security. They don’t make their money ripping anyone off.Īlso (I know someone else said it) understand that NOC is a very specific discipline outside of sysadmin.
I can’t say I recommend all their stuff (I found python and L+ to be a little weak and not helpful), but it really is a risk free trial. You can even sign up with your credit card then cancel your account immediately after and you still get the week of free access without having to worry about getting hit for $60. Best advice is to figure out what you want to study, and do the free week with CBTNuggets. That being said, CBTNuggets got me my CCNA and helped a lot with Sec+ when I was starting out. I hate to say that it seems like the quality has gone down significantly lately. CBT nuggets quality and value really depends on the course and the instructor.
